Periodic cleaning of the TC Line professional thermo-circulators is important to ensure that the equipment is well maintained and to avoid problems with the water circulator pump.
In this article, we’ll take you step by step through how to clean this equipment effectively.
The first step is to remove all the water from the appliance (with it switched off, unplugged). This will help detect any residue that has been released during cooking.
Use a sponge and neutral soap to clean the stainless steel tank and remove any dirt. It’s a simple cleaning, done in the traditional way.
Add water above the level of the pump inlet. Remove and replace the plug to remove the air from the pump (so that the water can go to the circulator pump).
Add neutral soap to the water and turn on the equipment, circulating the water.
In this process, the neutral soap gradually removes the grease from the circulator pump and other internal areas. Leave the thermocirculator running for a while, we recommend 1 hour at a temperature of 70ºC (the hot water helps to remove the grease).
Remove all the water, as it was used to clean the inside of the unit.
Add water respecting the minimum level (above the inlet of the circulator pump). Remove and replace the cap so that the pump can circulate.
There is no exact answer to this question, as it depends very much on the use of the equipment and the degree of “contamination” of the water. We recommend that our customers monitor the condition of the water on a daily basis and if it starts to show visible signs of grease build-up, cleaning should be carried out.
If, after a period of use (e.g. 1 month), the water is still in good condition, cleaning is not necessary.
