Getting Started With Our Thermocirculators

Our professional thermocirculators for Sous Vide of the TC Line are very simple to use, and we will talk in this article about the first steps with this equipment.

1. Supplying with water

The equipment cannot operate without water. Therefore, fill the equipment with water at a level above the thermocirculating pump inlet.

Our thermocirculators have a system that facilitates the supply of water. Just connect a hose to the lateral spigot of the equipment to your hydraulic network. The hose must respect the dimensions of the spigot and must also be suitable to withstand high temperatures.

2. Removing the air from the circulator pump

Whenever the water level is below the pump inlet, it is necessary (after filling with water) to open the side valve of the equipment and then close it. This is because the pump is filled with air, and by closing and opening this valve (with the equipment filled with water) you will let the air out for the subsequent entry of water in the pump, a necessary procedure for the pump to work properly.

Important Note: When working with temperatures above 80ºC, pay attention to the water level in the equipment. Even with thermal insulation, the water will evaporate little by little, and the level may drop considerably (below the pump inlet level). Periodically replace the water in the equipment, respecting the minimum level and always performing the process of air removal from the pump when this happens.

3. Turning on the equipment

Connecting the Professional Thermocirculator to the TC Line Sous Vide

Plug the equipment into the outlet. Both models (TC 50 and TC 100) are single-phase 220V, but the TC 100 requires a socket outlet that can handle 20A. Check that your electrical network meets the requirements for this amperage.

After connecting the plug to the outlet, just put the On/Off switch on I and the equipment will turn on.

4. Setting up the equipment

The configuration of the thermocirculators is very simple, just click on the P option of the digital controller and then use the up ↑ or down ↓ arrows to set the cooking temperature. Now just wait for the equipment to reach the desired temperature and start using it.
