Our patented meat and chicken shredders can also be used for shredding pork, thus making the famous pulled pork. First, let’s understand more about this dish and then we’ll cover how our machines can be used to carry out this process.
It emerged being used in barbecues in the United States, being served with bread and complements, such as coleslaw or barbecue sauce. Many hamburgers use this dish on their menu.
Any part of the pork can be used, but the best known and most used part for pulled pork is the pork loin. It is a cut that is taken from the top of the shoulder of the front legs.
Pulled pork is usually prepared in smokers. It is a relatively slower cooking, which takes place at 140ºC and takes about 8 hours to be carried out. Other ways to do it are using the sous vide technique (meet our professional thermocirculators), where after vacuum packaging the piece, you leave the product in water at 72ºC for 24 hours. It is also possible to use normal cooking in a pan, as by taking it to our patented shredders, they will be able to correctly separate the fibers from the piece.
Pulling pork used to be a manual task, as the piece was pulled by hand. The system that our patented shredders use manages to correctly separate the fibers, so after cooking it, take it to our shredders and pulled pork is done instantly.
In addition to gaining productivity, you will also gain in the quality of the end result with the machines we manufacture.
