1. What is the production of the thermocirculators?

When it comes to sous vide, production will always be proportional to two factors: the capacity of the equipment and the cooking time required for the different foods.

Therefore, as the times vary (check out our table of times and temperatures for sous vide here), we will refer to cooking times as cycles.

Our TC 50 professional thermocirculator has a capacity of up to 30 liters of water, or up to 12kg per cycle. Our TC 100 has a capacity of up to 50 liters of water, or up to 20kg per cycle.

2. Do you need a mains specification?

It depends on the model. The TC 50 model has 1.5KW and uses a standard socket, while the TC 100 model has a power of 3.5KW and needs a 20 amp socket, which requires thicker wiring to withstand the amperage.

3. Do they have a timer?

No, and the reason is quite interesting. Our thermo-circulators have an ultra-efficient thermal insulation system, which means they take a long time to lose heat. Even if the equipment is turned off after a while, cooking will continue normally due to this heat retention.

4. Do they consume a lot of energy?

No, which is a big advantage over other thermocirculators on the market. Our equipment has an ultra-efficient thermal insulation system, making energy consumption very low.

5. Do I need any training to use the equipment?

No, the use of our thermocirculators is very simple. Just fill them with water (always respecting the minimum levels) and then open and close the valve for the air to come out of the circulator pump. Okay, now just set the temperature that you will cook in the sous vide.
